There are currently many tools to take notes so that we remember important things at all times and know where to keep them when we need them.
Nototo It is a platform to take notes on another level. Thanks to this service we can Create a “visual map” with our annotations and add additional visual cues to help us keep the information alive.
A “mental palace” for our notes
As we can see in the presentation video (in these lines), it seems for a moment that we are visualizing a colorful version of the opening of ‘Game of Thrones’.
Once we’ve created an account (At the moment the service is completely free) We will see a completely empty visual terrain. It seems that we are in “Civilization” and the first thing we have to do is “place an island”.
When we have created the island, they will ask us to give it a name and it will be possible to expand it if we click on the edges from that. Each of the little squares we see is a kind of digital post-it that we can write what we want.
If we click on every square On the right side is a note that we can write anything we want. We also have the option to expand the note so that they have different sizes depending on their importance.
So that we have a better visual memory and can determine where the individual notes are, Items can be added to any island (for example trees or monuments) so that we can quickly see where everything is located.
All parts connected and within sight
The reality is that it is A great tool if we want to breathe life into a big project (or several projects) that have many different parts and we need a visual way to have everything under control.
The creators of this app (three engineering students) ensure that Nototo allows us to create a “mental palace” that we can visit and in which all our ideas are organized.
