Sonic needs no introduction, especially with the latest upheavals he has caused due to the recent release of his film. Apart from coming to the cinema, he has been one of the main protagonists of video games for many years.
Now SEGA has announced the arrival of the game to Android and other platforms, along with a trailer of more than three minutes showing the game modes, graphics and operation mode, which is quite similar to what we have already seen on the console.
Sonic and the Olympic Games arrive on Android
Regarding the Olympic Games to be held this year in the city of Tokyo, Nintendo has launched its most recent game, Sonic at the Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020 which is the full name that this delivery will have. In this game we can play in different Olympic events, (javelin, karate, fencing, table tennis, 400 flat meters, high jump, etc.) through a system of landslides through the touch screen. In addition to the Olympic events, there will be a series of additional mini-games inspired by the city of Tokyo.
The classification of the competitions will be online, so we can compete with other players in the world to have the best marks in the different disciplines.
One of the strengths of the game will be that we will be able to play and raise our scores online, so the results we have in the tests will enter into competition with other players, thus encouraging the game to be more and more competitive.
From SEGA they indicate that the game will be free, but that it will be limited to certain initial events. To unlock the whole game it will be necessary to pay for it, although the price is not yet known. However, it is already possible to pre-register from Google Play to be notified when the game is ready for download, although the promised date is March 7th.
